I'm typically just passing through this station on the way to my destination so I typically never get on or seaboard here. Has good covered areas on both platforms and a departures board.nI would say not the safest feeling of stations as there is sometimes a fight breaking out near Holladay Park—especially at night—or some unsavory behavior nearby.

A very pleasant, highly useful station among TriMet's collection. It backs up to Holladay Park, which is a beautiful oasis by itself. I really like that this station is served by three rail lines, so it's especially useful if going downtown- you'll rarely wait more than 5-7 minutes for a train. Yes there are transients here, but this is urban Portland, so that's widely known information. Keep to yourself, and they generally will too. Obviously reasonable street smarts are essential here, but overall this is a highly useful stop.
