Nice, well-maintained spot close and convenient to historic/downtown. Owners were really nice. Great, big dog park area in the back (which was needed because there isn’t any grass etc in the park that dogs can use and the campground is landlocked by surrounding shopping district.) Great area to stock up on groceries and essentials. Bathrooms were very clean.

I really hate to give this campground just 3 stars since it’s a really nice park - just not what we needed. We have 4 dogs and they allow more than 2 (YAY!). I picked this park because of the rave reviews over their large dog park, which was nice though incredibly dusty. However, there is no other decent place for dogs to relieve themselves other than this dog park. All sites are full gravel. The “dog walk” in the front of the park is gravel and dirt. They do have beautiful grass throughout the park but no dogs are allowed on grass. We actually left a day early because our dogs are just not good at doing their business on gravel. But the people are super friendly and it’s nicely landscaped. I just didn’t like the full gravel sites. But the park is nice. Give it a shot - just be weary if you’re traveling with pets.

Good privacy, even in the common bathroom. This perhaps because it’s off season. Nonetheless, a solid experience. Friendly staff. Good advice for how to get the best use of space. Perhaps a weird female customer across the way staring at us, perhaps more in hatred rather than curiosity. Other than that, it was a comfortable place to stay.

Extraordinary park: the employees and operators are very, very knowledgeable... but most important is that they were totally focused (and well mannered) on making sure we were happily camped in a really efficient and in most all ways, an experience of freedom and relaxation.
