Beautiful
We stopped here for the picnic tables at the pavilion in the evening, and we got a great view of the lake. There is parking right at the pavilion but you can also park at other lots on the trail and have a nice walk to the pavilion. There is also a beach area where there were several families, even though it wasn't that warm.
Great short trail. Small beach area. The concession “Dig the dunes” is delicious and sells some really cool souvenirs too.
Nice place for sunset pictures and relax watching waves.
Great bike trail, river walk is peaceful and beautiful with a quality boardwalk. Bathroom facility is well kept and new.
