Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Portage, IN

Loved it. The only problem was while in our whirlpool room u could hear the people next to us filling up thier tub. It was loud could hear it in the whole room. We will be back tho. Also had hot breakfast. Staff was nice

They have many covid-19 precautions in place, which I really appreciated on my little vacation with my family. Only a certain amount of people were allowed in the pool. They clean the pool area hourly.nAll staff was wearing masks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They couldn't have been more accommodating. They're also a great location with many restaurants nearby and the beach is a 10 minute drive. We'll definitely stay here again when we visit the Dunes.

Had a great time and experience while there. Due to the social distancing, didn't get in the pool because you had to sign up for a time slot. I usually go to the pool whenever I have time, so it didn't work for me. Front desk and housekeeping were great. We stayed in a handicap accessible room. It was nice and big with a separate living room from the bedroom.

Good price clean rooms But house keepers knock on every door in morning waking up guest to early. Breakfast attendant bad attitude. Bad service

What a let down.nUpon Arrival at the hotel, it looks very nice and clean. The staff seems to be trying to follow all social distancing rules.nThe young man was very helpful at the front desk. Made it quick and easy.nnWe got the king suite , with the whirlpool. It was clean and very spacious. First walking in the room it seemed kind of muggy , but I assumed it was from the whirlpool. But I liked that we had a thermostat in the room we could control!nThe tv in the whirlpool area didn't work and I could not figure out how to turn the fireplace on. Pillows are very small, and bed is nice but very firm. Room it self Is kind of out dated, but nothing awful!nDue to covid you have to make time slots for the pool, which is totally fine. We did and we waited our turned. We were told to check in at the front desk and he would let us in the pool area. After about 10 minutes of being in the pool area some kids entered. shortly after their mother did. It is very confusing why we waited for our time slots and had to be let in ,yet other families are coming and going as they please. It was kind of unsettling and annoying. No huge deal, we just went back to our room.nHere is my real issue.nAfter a while in the room we started to noticed we were both getting warm. At that point, it was 74..... After awhile, it was at 76... we noticed the ac would kick on, then kick off. We managed to crack a window for a cool breeze. The air did start working later on, we cooled it down to 71... but then awoke shortly after to a hot, uncomfortable room again.nWe both slept awful. Its was so hot and uncomfortable. I can't believe I paid 170 for a room to that uncomfortable. It was honestly such a let down. I had high hopes. I couldn't sleep, and we were just ready to leave at 7am. It ruined the whole stay for us.nI would never spend any money here again... I'm very upset I spent that much money for that...maybe I got a bad room with a messed up thermostat.... Idk butnWhat a let down on my birthday.
