Liked the hotel. LOVED the location and our little patio area. The beds...not so much. Probably didn't help that they were just double beds. The lake that it sits on is beautiful and plenty of decks to sit and enjoy the views. Centrally located near so many activities.
The staff was very nice and accommodating. I loved the view from our room of the lake. We sat out there for hours just watching nature.
The hotel itself is really nice it seems clean, the reason I give it three stars is there aren't any elevators to get to the top floor and the stairs have carpet on them which makes it hard to get a good grip. The hotel has a really nice pool and a good view of the lake behind the hotel. The hotel is in a good spot, especially if you are here to visit Michigan lake it is about 10 minutes away and I recommend to eat at Gastro 49 Pub and Eatery, way better than it sounds.
Good and clean hotel. Far away from vehicle traffic. Though not a 5 star it stands on its own. Basic amenities have seen better days. Friendly staff. I've stayed here on several occasions and would recommend it.
I stay here every time my job brings me to this area. Nothing really outstanding but I like this motel. Nice view lake side and handy to food and fuel
