Chesterton Sewage Billing Department

First time in approx.16 years my check was returned for ISF. Didn't call me (said they didn't have a current number), so instead of sending me a letter, they send a certified letter which I couldn't pick-up during regular hours because I work. From the time they sent me the letter (DEMANDING cash or cashiers check) to the time I received the letter it was approx. 3 weeks. The women in the office was rude and condescending. Their billing office needs to be re-evaluated and office staff needs some professionalism training.

Just got a delinquent notice Saturday(12/21/2019). House was sold June 2019 no billing from that time until notice arrived. Billing office needs to step up their game. All taken care of ladies in office are wonderful.

Chad from the sewage dept was awesome. He is very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The ladies in the office were curtious and kind. Great interaction with all.

My water was disconnected over 100 dollar sewer bill that was never even mailed to me. Not to mention they didnt even knock on my door to fix the problem before cutting my families water. I paid and fixed the problem. Than they have the audacity to tell me we wont have water until tomorrow. Not only is this highly unprofessional but I pay my Bill's and now still dont have a service. This is beyond ridiculous! An error on their part but yet the customer still suffers. Your a joke!

The same situation here. Their regular bill never arrives , only the delinquent notice. I believe something is going on with their billing department.nMaybe on-line service would solve the issue..
