Great variety! I visit often. Most everyone there is polite and friendly except for the manager. The one who does the ordering. Don't ever ask him when he's going to get something in. He is never nice. So besides him, it's a nice place. Great wine selection. Most items priced higher than other liquor stores in town. But it is the largest, cleanest and newest liquor store in town.
Wise Guys has been one of our clients since 2014. They are truly a pleasure to work with.
These folks are just plain awesome.. ordered, paid, delivered right to my car (OK SUV).. no muss, no fuss... they even searched for the beer I wanted and voila..found it !!! huge thanks to all of them.. stay safe and stay sane !!! the beer will help with the latter..:):)
The location is excellent and the staff is friendly. But truth be told, they need to find a better buyer for this store. Their beer selection is big, but that doesn't mean it's good. There's an overabundance of mediocre craft beer. And some stuff will sit on the shelves for months (check brewed on date when you're here). Outside of a major beer release, I've never bought anything on whim here because they hardly ever have anything to be excited about.nnAlso, a minor complaint, but they have never followed up with me when I've requested some fairly common things that they don't have. Most the time it just makes more sense to drive to Triangle in Valpo than to settle for WiseGuys.nnNot knocking on the people. Just the product.
This is my #1 stop for all things alcohol. I bought a $180 bottle of The Macallan scotch whiskey for $80 for my brother for his birthday. The staff is always very helpful and the store is always very clean. If they don't carry something, they will try to help you find some place to pick it up. During the COVID-19 crisis, these guys remained open and they provided drive-up services. Greatest liquor store in NWI.
