Leila, who was working the front desk when we arrived, was amazing! They followed covid protocols, were warm, helpful, attentive, and a wonderful human. I can't really say the same about other staff we encountered the next day. Aside from room service staff and Leila, it didn't seem like anyone else was taking covid protocols seriously, which made things uncomfortable. I also observed the person on the left in the attached photo (with glasses and gray mask) wearing gloves, but touching all different surfaces and items without ever changing them or washing their hands. They may benefit from a better understanding of how cross-contamination works the same regardless of wearing gloves or not.nnThe hot tub was nice.
Unfortunately we came up from Texas for a funeral and left our children behind. We were initially suppose to stay until Monday but because of the rioting and looting we feared the highways would get shut down before we could make it home to our kids. We explained this to the front desk and there was nothing she can do to try to help us out. Under the circumstances you would think said person would be mindful and considerate of everything that is going on but the stay it self was nice and clean rooms. Just pretty disappointed with the customer service. Will not be returning to any other country inns.
Good staff, decent room, close proximity to everything. Basic breakfast, eggs, sausage, French toast sticks, oatmeal (hot), cereal, fruit, etc (cold). Pool is decent size, workout room is a bike, a treadmill, and a nice all in one workout station. Would definitely stay again.
Staff was pleasant and helpful. You could tell they cleaned and disinfected.
Welcoming and courteous staff makes for a pleasant and comfortable stay. We stayed here for an extended period last summer. The rooms were very well kept. Our first week here, the pool needed some adjustment. The maintenance person made the appropriate adjustments and for the remaining weeks of our stay, the pool and hot tub were kept at a very comfortable temperature and were not overtreated. Maria the breakfast attendant was very kind and attentive to the breakfast area to keep it well stocked, and she laughed and conversed with my children and made us feel very at home while we were here. The housekeeping staff is lovely as well. They made sure to leave extra toiletries and liners because they knew we had small children. Each person did their specific job as if it was the most important part of our stay, and when you put individual people who care about what they do on the same team, you get the best experience any hotel guest could have. We will be making a point to visit this hotel again.
