Great study spot with a coffee shop and computers to boot
Valpo's Christopher Center boasts a nice, modern atmosphere and a variety of seating options to help you study. Sometimes the library is quite busy, so finding a place or a computer could be difficult — but usually only before and during final exam weeks. Employees at the Circulation Desk and IT are definitely dedicated to helping you find an online resource, fix a laptop, etc. I've had a great time working at the Circulation Desk, and I can tell you all co-workers were fantastic and are helpful to patrons! The library is extremely clean and organized, so hats off to all employees, especially the custodians. :)
The office, that seems to be one of great importance to campus life at VU, is extremely small. It's literally only a side office. The employees there couldn't be bothered to make simple phone calls, which forced me to run all over campus. Hopefully I won't be needing to go there any time soon. The Library itself is very nice and well laid out. A lot of room to study and all that you would ever need in a college library.
The library staff stand alongside the faculty as the best part of Valpo. Absolutely amazing.
