We chose to purchase health insurance through our business from Joe a few years ago, the very first time any of the employees needed to use it, the coverage and plan that he sold us wasn’t even close to what we got. He brought in brochures and pamphlets with prices, deductibles, and coverages, made a ton of promises to get our business, then when we went to use it and none of the information was accurate, he offered absolutely zero help. All of the 1 star reviews on this guy and his business are absolutely spot on. Typical greasy used car salesmen ethics. Do your research and stay away from Hecht

So I don't post unless I get great or terrible service.nnThis was terrible all the way around...nnFriend referred Joel at Hecht & Hecht to me. Called three times, left messages for a quote with no call back. Finally received a call back after my friend called Joel and prompted him.nnSpent an hour answering questions with Joel. He wanted to dig into hypothetical future business inner workings. And never said anything about it being potentially difficult to insure me. It is simple and straight forward really but he kept trying to complicate.nnJoel followed up a couple hours later saying he would get back to me by the end of the week. I asked him to expedite (usually only takes a couple days and I had already been waiting). DIDN'T HEAR FROM HIM FOR TWO WEEKS...and, ONLY after I had called three more times and spoke to Kelly (who in all fairness was courteous). Joel proceeded to tell me that no one would insure my business due to DBA concerns.nnProblem is I had already gotten two other quotes with no issues under the exact same circumstances. And, their other insurance agent (Kelly, who did follow up with me today) confirmed that there should not have been an issue.nnI was warned against going to Hecht & Hecht by some folks in the automotive space but bent over backwards to do business with them anyway...should have listened. I'm okay with not getting insurance from them, but zero communication is Unacceptable. Stay away.

Terrible service. Once they sell you a policy they won't return calls. Move on.

Great service. Joel Ankerich, the agent I work worth, always does the best he can and goes above and beyond. Great company overall.

We have held our business policy here for three years. The communication is terrible particularly with Lena. However, it's not great with the other agents in this office either. We nearly had our policy canceled which led to major issues across the board due to a supplemental location being added to our policy. Unfortunately, this was an error and again due to poor communication.nnThere was a small $180.00 (ish) balance that remained on the previous policy due to this change that were did not realize had actually occurred and weeks after our new policy was written we received notification due to this previous policy change. Not a single agent in the office took this matter seriously and we had to go directly to the carrier to resolve the issue and have all parties notified.nnNever received an apology, it has been weeks not a single email or phone call to address the fact we do not and did not have a supplemental address and were not only charged once for this but actually paid twice in an effort to resolve the matter. We paid Hect & Hect directly and paid the carrier. We still have not received a credit. Nonetheless we will NOT be continuing services here!
