Working with Sedgwick has been exhausting and convoluted, with conflicting/no information that has me running between Sedgwick, my doctor, and my employers.nnOn the rare occasions that I have been able to reach my representative at Sedgwick,she has been helpful and provided clear, consise information--- but she also seems quite overwhelmed and likely over-loaded with work.nEven the simple act of trying to log in to my account to check messages is only intermittently useful-- sometimes the site just gives me an error message and states it's experiencing difficulties!nnOverall, a frustrating and unsupportive experience with my short term disability.

Claims udjuster would never return my calls. They send the most important information to the wrong doctors office. I had to call and talk to several people for 3 to 4 weeks before I helped them figure out what was wrong.

This company is horrible. I rented a Public Storage unit in Bee Cave, TX and this is the insurance provider they use. I paid for the insurance, my unit was broken into, items were stolen, so I filed a claim 3 months ago and provided all the information I had, including a police case number. The processor for the claim has been ignoring me for at least 2 of the 3 months. Sedgwick's website doesn't have a phone number listed and the chat function is an automated joke that leads nowhere, and never to a human. The insurance didn't cost that much and in this case it's worthless.

They don't return call backs and haven't been able to reach the right office . I've talked to more then 8 people that gave me another number or department to call cause they can't help me. Left numerous message to management but no call back.

Had to threaten legal action to get a reply back. They sent my check to the wrong address, said they would resend the check and give me tracking info--that was last week--and still nothing. At this point, I'm taking legal action and am in contact with an attorney. I have NO CLUE how this company is still in business.nnUPDATE: I have reached out to an attorney at this point. My claims adjuster, Christine Harris, refuses to respond to any emails or messages now. I was told that she would give me Fedex tracking for the reissued claim check, which was last week. This is unreal.
