Strand Theatre

So I saw a movie with my little girl just this past weekend. We got there early and were the first to be seating. At one point I had sworn to see and apparition of a man but didn't think of it and focus on the beauty of the theatre while readying myself for the movie. Later that afternoon I spoke to my fiance and her mother about the movie (them being locally from here and me just transitioning here from NC) and nonchalantly mentioned the apparition. To my complete shock and surprise they mentioned that there was rumor about a man being seen and thought to be the previous owner still there and that this place had actually been investigated for paranormal activity. I for one ABSOLUTELY ud83dudcaf feel as if it is. I'm excited to know that he felt relaxed enough to show himself to me and Grant me such an amazing experience. I hope to visit soon again and often. What a great time, such beautiful historic preservation, fun, and...well...very interestingly awesome!!

Small double theater always great been going for years

My freind kept farting so I couldn't enjoy the movie but I highly recommend

Really enjoyed my movie-viewing at The Strand! Unique among today's theaters because it has a very nostalgic feel and look, but with great digital sound and picture. Great prices, and the staff was very kind and courteous! I plan on going there again!

I quit going to movies because of prices but that all changed today. Great theatre with great prices that a family can afford. Looking forward to our next visit going out to a movie.
