As the Bible says,nn“Matthew 7:15 – Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”nn“Romans 16:18 – For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.”nnThis is the church that turns kids (in the youth group) against one another when they feel one or few have done wrong or aren’t doing things to the pastor’s family standard. They bully, harass, and manipulate others among the youth group – even the Pastor’s wife has stepped in and told kids they’re in the wrong for questioning things. No exaggeration – kids literally getting phone calls and texts if they don’t show up to a Wednesday night service because they have a job or school priorities. They also teach the kids to “get names on your crown” when leading people to salvation – I’ve heard it numerous times and even the daughter has said it. You do not get into heaven by gracious acts, nor by “saving” others and “getting their names on your crown” when they accept Christ into their hearts.nnThis is no church, it’s a cult. Unfortunately, most of the congregation doesn’t see this happening or realize it because the family is all so sweet as honey on the surface and they sweep things under the surface as soon as they can.nnI’d never send a growing, open-minded child to this church to learn the word of God. Scary to think they have such influence over parts of the community.
