Knowledgeable staff. They really know their stuff. Was given clean clothes. I was able to take showers and medical treatment free of charge. Beds weren't very comfortable and the food is bleh. But can't complain. I Have definitely been in worst situations. Also as a previous reviewer stated, they will pick you up and give you a ride there. I was told it was like their very own uber service. I couldn't find the app though. And the seats smelled like puke and were sticky. But hey, free ride.. i did see some of the stafd being less than proffesional on a daily basis. Overall it was a phenomenal jailing experience.

Hey as far as jail goes I've only been to three, Clackamas County, Multnomah County MCJC (Justice Center aka Bedrock), and MCIJ (Inverness)nI'd rank Inverness as the best followed by Justice center with Clackamas County in my opinion ranked somewhere below what I hear a prison in Mexico is like, unless you get in kitchen crew then ya gotta be careful or you won't have anything to wear that fits when you leave lol

First off, you don’t need a ride to get here. They will pick you up from anywhere in the county. Sometimes they will even get you out of bed and bring you.. AND it’s all free of charge!

This building contains the Multnomah County Detention Center, Justice Center Courtrooms 1-4, part of the District Attorney's Office, Pretrial Release Services, and Close Street Supervision on one side. The 2nd Ave entrance is Portland Police Bureau's Central Precinct lobby that is open 24/7.nnIt's a jail. It's not pleasant. It could be worse.
