This place has such a warm place in our hearts. This is where we married. We went to Portland for a long weekend. We didn't know anyone in town. The judge was so kind to rustle up witness so we could conduct the ceremony in her office. All four of us were in tears while the judge did her duty. It was very moving.

I’m new to Oregon and recently found myself having to go to the courthouse multiple times for jury duty and small claims court. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and organized the people managing the juror pool were. I was also surprised to learn that all the mediators are unpaid volunteers and still manage to be kind and helpful in a stressful situation. When we eventually went to trial, I was expecting the worst, but instead I got a judge who was very sharp, a great listener, and most importantly, fair. It’s nice to live in a place where your rights as a tenant are protected.
If you love parking tickets then this city is the right one for you! Portland parking ferreis will do anything to ticket you even if your a minute over your allotted time on your ticket. Parked a hair over the line? Congrats! You've just been awarded an $85 ticket for doing so! Trash city, and a trash parking system. Cant wait to get out of Oregon.
A HUUUUGE thank you and kudos to Madison in the Records Department for helping me out with some paperwork over the phone. She heard in my voice that I'd had a HORRIBLE day, and she sent a lovely note with the forms I requested. I can't tell you how amazing it was to have a beautiful human being show such genuine concern for a complete stranger. THANK YOU Madison, you truly touched my heart with your kindness!
