I am a 13 year old and I always go over to the library to do homework, and get fun books. The staff is GREAT. They help with my needs.

Best librarians ever. They always have great suggestions for my kids. Always incredibly kind and helpful.

I work at the Ralph E. Hazelbaker Library and I've never worked at a better, cleaner, safer place in my life. It was my DREAM to work here! The people I work with are amazingly generous, selfless and caring. We offer programs to our community at absolutely no charge and do everything on a small-town budget. We work hard to provide our patrons with the best possible service at all times. My co-workers are absolutely wonderful people who genuinely care about the community and the people in it! I've worked here for THREE years. I know what I'm talking about. Come visit for yourself and see! ;-)

This library is OK. The staff is passibly courteous but condescending at the same time.nnThe facilities are alright. The library is ordinary but clean with a good selection.nnMy kids enjoy the Goosebumps program but the lady running it consistently looses control of the group. She has to yell over them and frequently appears to lose her patience. She set up a system to try to encourage good behavior but didn't even use it, instead ending each meeting frazzled and annoyed. I had hoped to continue to attend and be put to use helping ease things for her but we had a run in with her over our daughter with autism and unfortunately won't be back. I hope in the future they can learn how to be more special needs friendly.

Not special needs friendly. Had my daughter in a program for K through 6. Daughter has an episode related to her autism. Librarian running the program was short, impatient, and seemingly incapable of understanding the challenges or even having them explained. After the program ended, I attempted to talk to her and explain, but all she could say was that she had no more time for me or my daughter. Perhaps if they finally forced their 1940s era librarian into retirement where she belongs, they could get some new people in with just a tiny bit of social awareness.nnEither way, that librarian is awful, incapable, and mind blowing-ly unintelligent. Her time passed 30 years ago.nnFire her and hire someone better to represent our community library.nnEdit: I just received a call from the town police notifying me the library management has issued a tresspassing order for my family because of this review. Very telling of the type of people employed there.nnJust go to elec, fairmount, gas city, etc. Leave these born losers to themselves.
