I called in after picking up my kids, knowing that I was going to be in a hurry (because other people have lives/work as well!) and would be arriving right at closing time. I was very polite to the woman who answered the phone and explained my situation (coming from daleville to get my kids birth certificates so they can start daycare on Monday as I just accepted a new job) and asked her if she could please print them off for me so that they would be ready and I wouldn't be holding anyone over on leaving. She then got very rude and said no we don't do anything in advance. You're either here by 4pm or we don't help you, we won't hold the door. I explained to her that my gps said I would be here at 4:01 and again very nicely asked if she could help me out because I had to have the items for them to start Monday and told her how much I would appreciate it. She again got rude and told me no. I rush even more, get there exactly at 4pm, unbuckle all three of my kids and tote them to the door to find out it's already locked! I was here at 4pm, like she said!! I'm so unbelievably upset and frustrated. Would it kill someone to spend an extra 5 minutes out of their day to do the right thing and help another human being out? I mean honestly! Because I couldn't get these documents my children will now not be able to begin school and puts the job I just accepted in Jeopardy! I understand it's a Friday evening, but it wouldn't have killed her to help!
