Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral

This is an experience you must have at least once in your life, or twice. The atmosphere, the energy, the icons just goes right through you, powerful place to worship and connect. A must see. Unforgettable. I recommend you get there early for best seating in the middle section.One of the most unique church experiences anyone will ever have, you feel at home from the moment you walk in the front door! 10/10

A treasure; an extraordinary and extraordinarily beautiful Byzantine Revival Church one of the most amazing artistic structures I have ever seen! The magnificence of this building is extremely remarkable and will not be duplicated in modern day while effectively and piously incorporating the living tradition of the American experience. I had no idea such a lovely structure existed in Oregon until I happened upon it yesterday. I just had to go inside for a peek! I should've asked about photography. I didn't use a flash, but I hope it's ok I took photos to share. Very impressive... It reminds me very much of Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Washington, D.C., which I've visited many times. The priest was laid back and inviting. Very diverse congregation, beautiful building. Just gorgeous!

It can be a sanctuary for my soul at times. Last visit was special. There was a choir practicing in the gym. 20 voices that were perfecting this angelic sound. I took my phone out to record a snippet. When I got home to listen , I was upset with myself. I hadn't realized I inadvertently sabotaged the recording. I was eating candy while recording. And over these beautiful voices reaching out to God, you could hear the sound of candy wrappers being opened.nI will find this choir and pay to hear them. I promise not to take any candy with me.

You can feel the present of the Lord while worship Beautiful church in Portland, a great idea to bring friends and family, the way they are impacting this city is awesome So real so inspiring. The vibe is awesome. Our God is with us. Feels good, is good. The Holy Spirit guides and directs I am home.

Beautiful church. Went here for the Greek festival, got some nice treats and checked out the little museum upstairs.
