Edgewood Town Court

extremely hard to get in contact with and to receive important information on court dates and times. i have called and emailed. my last experience a few years ago was exactly the same. and the women in the office was unhelpful and rude.

No one EVER picks up the phone! Who does this small town answer too? Is there a Mayor or perhaps an Officer? There must be one of those because someone wrote my husband a ticket I can't pay if they won't answer.

In 1999 I received 3 different tickets. Speeding- Hancock County, Speeding- EDGEWOOD, AND “obstructing pedestrian traffic” ANDERSON. The lady at Hancock county was very PLEASANT, and helpful. I remember calling into EDGEWOOD, and ANDERSON prior and BOTH times the ladies had VERY nasty tones. I don’t understand why is this necessary, I felt like to them I was a common criminal. I think they are people that are “use to” their positions, and feel they can talk to people anyway they please. They need to learn how to talk to people respectively, rather than “over talk”, and be nasty.

This court room is jokingly small and uncomfortable. Ill never understand why they send traffic court here its out of the way and just the whole place is awkward.
