I arrived at the store in Merrillville where I was happily greeted by Mr. Shaun who welcomed me into the store. It was refreshing to be welcomed to a place a business. I asked to see a hard queen side mattress and he preceded to show me various grades of hard mattresses. I could feel that he loved his job and gave a smile with his assistance. I was so impressed and it was refreshing to receive excellent courteous service. Good service is not often found these days. I decided on and purchased a mattress and noticed the store also sold futons. I mentioned to Mr. Shaun that I would return to purchase a futon at a later time. I was unable to return to the store due to a leg problem. So, I called the store and spoke to Mr. Shaun who assisted me with purchasing the futon and frame. Once again, I received excellent service. So, I purchased the futon and frame over the phone. Oftentimes, I do not feel that some stores,(not specifically American Mattress), realize the importance of good customer service will bring return visits and purchases. I can truly say and am proud to say that the customer service at American Mattress in Merrillville, IN has excellent customer service and merchandise. Excellent experience. My wife and I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened. Sales Representative (can't remember his name, started with an S) was amazing. Told him what we wanted and he gave us options that were a wide range of prices. Didn't push for the most expensive. Delivery went off without a hitch, overall excellent service!
Great customer service. We were in and out in no time. The sales rep was wonderful and answered all of our questions. Great prices too.

There are no words that i can express how our Sales Rep David, provided service to my parents. He made the experience very stress free. He listened to the concerns that my parents had and provided the best advice and knowledge on items that he had. I will be recommending everyone I know that is looking for a mattress to go to this store.
