I placed my order for multiple pieces of furniture and TODAY on my delivery date no one is answering the phone and no one has called to tell me when my order will be delivered. I loved the Greenwood location. They were extremely professional but the Merrillville store is not being professional at all. Somebody needs to tell me something because I’m not paying for furniture I do not have.nnThen I called corporate and the man told me he would investigate and get back to me about it but never took my information down to contact me. To top it off, the finance company emailed me today that they’re still taking my payment out next Friday.
I pulled up two hours after they were supposed to open..they weren’t open. There was a customer outside on the phone trying to call them because her furniture was supposed to be delivered before noon..she told me not to shop there..she looked super frustrated. American Freight..you should get better employees..your business is suffering... I will take the lady’s advice and not shop here. If your business is advertising a time to be open..it should be. No excuses. If they can’t open on time..I can only imagine what else could go wrong shopping here. I don’t need the headache. ud83dudc4eud83cudffd...

Purchased a $900 mattress that held up for only nine months! They did a warranty exchange which takes 30-45 days. Waited for all that time plus 5 months to get a replacement. Today 7 months later they delivered the wrong mattress and there’s 10 inches of water damage and stinks of black mold badly! Worst of it all I’m their ups driver! Don’t spend a dime here!
In true American Freight Fashion, they delivered the wrong items 3 Times!! The store in Mishawaka IN is the worst but this one seems to be right behind. I ordered my furniture months ago and received the wrong package on the initial order and when asked to fix the order and deliver what was purchased, they delivered the wrong furniture AGAIN. I have had to go through the Better Business Bureau to receive my furniture because they hold businesses accountable. Despite that, they got my order wrong again. Please stay away from this store, I suggest using overstock, VCF or even Walmart if you have to. Unprofessional!!!
