Great selection, quality furniture at a fair price. Our designer Debbie is the best! She's helped us design our kitchen table, chairs and counter stools. Quality is not cheap but the prices are reasonable. Remember you get what you pay for.

We have been buying furniture from walter smithe at merrillville location since 2010. We always go with Genny Fagan. She is one of the reason we are going back again and again for the furniture purchase at this location. She is very professional , talented, knowledgeable and much much more. we love her. I’ve never been in the store, but I love the commercials. Whatever the Smithes are up to, they were making beautiful children for a minute there.nnHowever, I’m disappointed that my favorite sister, the THICC one, hasn’t been in on the commercials lately. Bring back the THICC one- baby I want to cuddle on the couch with you.

Very nice furniture but will not shop here again due to sales representative putting their interests before mine. They tried up selling a sectional with more pieces than necessary to increase the price. Spoke with a gentleman at another reputable furniture store who informed me that I could get the same couch with two pieces instead of three and I would save $1,300 on the overall price including delivery. Representative was condescending, stating that if I spent any less than $4,500, I would not find a comfortable and quality couch. Ended up purchasing that exact sectional for $3,250 instead of $4,565.
