What a scam. We use to pay via placing money in the stall slot for $1.50. Now they have closed all the payment boxes and you must pay by the Impark Parking App. Why do we have to pay $1.78 when the parking is $1.50. So Impark makes the parker pay the credit card fee when we don't have the option to pay cash directly as we did for the last 50 years. A notice should have been given to all parkers in regards to this INCREASE in parking. Then try using the app - it won't even recognize all the stall numbers. What happens when a person does not have a mobile phone due to no funds to own a mobile?? How do we pay then?

Impark parking lot - Beware when parking!!! You could be towed and receive false parking fees and tickets even if you have been using the Impark application or simply placing your quarters in the metal box. (metal box that has slots for all of the stall numbers). I was towed from Hegewish because Impark stated I owed 100 tickets for failing to pay for parking. Not once have I ever failed to pay for parking!! It cost me over $600 to get my car out of the towing site and to pay for fake parking tickets. Fake tickets which I never saw in my life before! Scammers!!!!nnThe Hegewish South Shore Parking lot has this old system where you put $1.50 in quarters in a silver box, which has all of the stall numbers on it. Even if you place money in the box for your stall, it is THEIR WORD AGAINST YOURS if you paid or not. There is no physical proof you paid! In addition, they cant give you proof you did not pay!nnIf you have the Impark application and you pay to park with it please watch your statement and keep track of the confirmation text messages. I have been billed for days I never parked there. Impark has not installed a physical machine that can provide a ticket that you can place in your car as proof of payment for parking, therefore be very careful!nnFinally, the Chicago of Chicago hired Impark to collect parking fees and this Impark sysytem is a huge scam, so be careful!!
