This was my first time in the bookstore and I had to pick up an online order. I walked in and went to the first counter I saw. Two ladies were standing there, talking to each other. One had her back to me and the other was facing me. The one facing me clearly saw I was waiting..and waiting..and waiting..She didn't stop her conversation to help me at all. Then a third lady came up and asked what I needed help with. I told her I needed to pick up an online order. She told me I needed to go down to the online pickup area and very sternly told me I needed to take off my backpack and leave it at the front. She pointed to the sign there (which I had not seen). Like I said, I've never been here before and I feel like she thought I knew better than to bring my backpack in.nnI go to the online pickup counter and again I'm waiting...and waiting...and waiting..Another lady was stocking merchandise and saw me. She didn't come to the counter at all. All of a sudden a younger lady came from behind me and asked if I had been helped. I told her no and I just needed to pickup an online order. She gladly helped me out and I was able to get my order.nnI can't believe how the older ladies treated me. The younger lady was the nicest person in that store.nnOther than poor customer service, the store was clean and seemed well stocked.
The worst place to buy books. Horrible return policy and ignorant managers. I hope I am around when they go out of business.
