Nightbird Salon & Apothecary

I recently had a balayage and a cut with Hilary and my hair looks and feels amazing. The natural blended effect that she achieves is something special and she is a lovely person to chat with throughout the lightening process. The salon itself is darling and has a cozy, welcoming feel. I cannot recommend this salon enough.

I just followed Diane to Nightbird Salon. She is by far the most talented stylist for my short, gray, straight hair that has a grand widow's peak. My difficult-to-cut hair, which is also thinning, has never looked better. I frequently get compliments. Diane is a magician! The bonus is that she is also a very pleasant and caring person. She listens well, provides ideas and suggestions and genuinely cares about her clients. I cannot say enough good things about her. I am so happy my friend recommended her last year!!

I have been going to Diane for a year now, since she has moved from a different salon. I love her. She is the warmest person and she does FANTASTIC vintage hair.

I am blown away by the attention to detail and care that Hilary puts into my hair every time I come in. She effortlessly changed my grown out highlights into a beautiful chocolatey brown, and the products in use are of very high quality. Can't really see myself going elsewhere!

This review is long overdue, so my sincere apologies to the amazingly talented Diane Worthly. My seriously thinning, straight hair has acquired some wave as I get older and my usual bob was always kind of a mess. I told Diane that I needed a haircut that required little effort and that could survive several days of camping. I got a wonderful, updated version of a bob, but with movement and a cut that took complete advantage of the unruly waves. My hair looks thicker. I can scrunch my freshly-washed hair to get a fun, more unstructured look or I can just brush it a few times while it's drying to get a tidier, sleeker look.nnDiane is a gifted, caring artist and the salon is warm and inviting. Go pamper yourself; it's well worth it!
