Lake Station Fire Station 1

This place is joke, and dose not have compaction. They are rude and argumentative to anyone that doesn't have a medical health background. Well I'm CNA and have been taking care of my mom since I was 15. I dont know if that qualifies me a medical health professional to you but to me its enough to know when something is wrong with my mother. He refused to listen continued to talk over me and threatened to call the police on because I did not know where my mother put the POA. As she was unable to tell me.She said her name and her birthday so he concluded that she was fine. My mother didn't know who I was, who her mother was, or the date she also could not sign her own name for his paperwork stating she was fine and no care was needed. That doesn't sound like she is in her right mind to me. I asked for his name he refused and said call him boss, funny how there is no number to call on there website though. So after he finally left I found a way for my mother to get to the hospital and they admitted her because of the condition she is in. My mother is a paralyzed veterinarian, I would think that she deserved better care then she received.nI wont say this entire fire department is horrible, however it may need a new people that are actually willing to to help when someone is in need.
