First time to this rink for a couple games and it was better than I anticipated. It was clean and employees I spoke with were nice. The ice was in good condition and overall pretty decent rink and I have been to thousands of rinks so hopefully will be back playing games here again.

My daughter attended open gym and got into an altercation with another child (there is no supervision in the gym) I grabbed my child and went to leave when a lady behind the desk grabbed my daughter and proceeded to drag her into a back office and hold her down in a chair and scream with her finger in her face! (She has no idea what had happened or the reason at this point) I jetted back into that room and told her to take her hands off of my child and told them to call the police! I have never in my life seen someone talk to a child or handle one in that manner! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN AT THIS PLACE! It was child abuse! Her arms are all bruised! The redness of her arms after this was really BAD ! COMPLETELY DISGUSTED!

If your interested in joining the greatest sport ever - Hockey. In my opinion, it's always good to ask key questions before signing up to any association:nn- Ask if the association has a board or is it privately owned / run? What is the goal of the association - Is it grow the game or make money?n- Ask them if they have a safety team - To ensure players are using the using the correct / non-expired equipment (YES - Helmets have an expiry date).n- Ask if they follow hockey USA rules?n- Ask how many players do they limit to a team? Are they willing to put more than the standard 15 players + goalie on a team?n- Ask what happens if they put a team together and you don't have a goalie - House or travel?n- Ask if their all hockey coaches or assistant coaches have actually played hockey and are experienced?n- Ask if coaches are critiqued to ensure proper instruction?n- Ask if their is a disciplinary committee to handle unruly and embarrassing parents; players and coaches?nnPart of any great hockey experience starts with the association itself............And the fact I am highlighting these questions, should speak for itself.

They do not enforce masks. Employees and coaches walking around either without them or under chin. It's terrifying.

Midwest has done a great job during these uncertain times. Facility is clean and communication from staff is excellent!
