Crown Point BMV Branch

I’m 9 months pregnant and I was with my boyfriend, to get his license. He left his card at home, so I had to come in and pay to get his license. When his number was called up I went up there with him so I could pay for it. The lady taking care of him told me I had to sit in the lobby or leave. Meanwhile they’re was a white couple sitting together right next to us. While my boyfriend and I are not white. I told her I have to pay for his license and she told all she needs is my card not me. I wasn’t able to stand next to my boyfriend to get his license but a white couple was able to sit down together to renew their tags. We won’t come here ever again.

I have lost my drivers license and called for information as to what documentation I would need to secure another license. I forgot that it was Veterans Day and that offices would be closed. I would have Appreciated information that could have directed me to an online site. Also I noticed that in providing info on roads and/or road conditions, a copy of a California drivers license depicting Osama Bin Ladin and corresponding info was used. I found this to be offensive and inappropriate. As stated, the BBC Ontario Crown Printing was responsible; however, I was directed there by accessing IN BMV.

Giving 3 stars because you're employees attitudes are terrible. I get the plandemic19 scare stuff. But jumping at people who come in to do business isn't the way to handle it. If you're scared. Stay home. Don't take your frustrations out on customers.

I had a wonderful experience today while visiting this location. They took extra precautions with everything going on so they were only letting a certain amount of people in at a time but once I was called the lady (Angelica) was fast and efficient and it took less then 10 minutes. I will use this location again in the future.

If I could one star this place a thousand times I would. Classic example showcasing our government's lack of ability to accomplish anything. Inefficient and rude staff.
