Gary Housing Authority

Very careless and slow, its obvious they get paid to loose things and sit around, I'm supposed to be porting in and they say they cant find my case file. Tomorrow makes 3 weeks I've waited for a call back from them and they still haven't contacted me with any information. I'm currently trying to file a complaint against Gary housing authority

Something truly fishy is up with this place, was on their waiting list twice( waited three years each time) and unless you know someone who works for their office...they will find a way to make up an excuse to tell you to reapply( i won't be re-applying )the staff are rude....and are all unethical and someone preferably the BBB needs to look into them, because they are not right on so many levels and the people that need the assistance aren't getting it!!!!

Truly vile behavior by the board of the GHA. I attended a meeting where they allowed 3 minutes per comment (published limit), but reduced the time to 2 minutes based on the content (topic) of the comment. They voted to try to condemn (take through eminent domain) a building where this exceeds their power and where they have already failed once. The board leaves the impression of being a bunch of patronage-appointed incompetents. They need competent legal counsel. I would crawl in a hole before I would let my name be part of this mess.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS HAVE ATTITUDE - YOUD THINK THAT THESE PEAOPLE R HERE TO HELP BUT THEY ARE JUST RUDE. NEVER GET BACK TO PEOPLE IN A TIMELY MANNER. VERY DISORGANIZED. I FEEL LIKE I AM A BOTHER WHEN I HAVE TO CALL THEM. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND
