HydroSports Dive and Travel

Love this place! Between this and Salem scuba there is such a good selection of gear in town which is awesome!!! I have just started to purchase my own gear and I loved that they had used gear I could choose from! Shawn is SO NICE and knowledgeable and was so helpful in determining what I would need and showing me available options and being honest about what would work well for me, what I wouldn’t need, etc. he has a great wealth of knowledge and is great fun to talk diving with! My mom and I both purchased products from him and he was great at helping us and showing us different options and giving us his advice and personal experiences. I definitely recommend checking out his place if you’re in the market for diving gear! Although you might be able to find things cheaper online these days it is so important to support local brick and mortar stores especially for hobby/specialty sports like this! We need local dive shops so there can continue to be places to have gear serviced, fill tanks at, etc! Thanks again Shawn! I’ll definitely be back :)

Knowledgeable staff. Friendly. Very easy to talk to as a beginner who didn't know much walking through the door. No pushy sales, just true interest in diving. Love it!

I did my open water cert class through HydroSports and had a great time. The instructors we wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this place if you're looking at getting into scuba diving.

The staff are knowledgeable and know how to help you compare goods. They are friendly & great when I need work on my equipment. I especially love the instructors & how they make the classes both informative & fun.

Got my Open Water, Advanced and Rescue certs at Hydrosports. The dive staff are great...they care about their divers! Shaun is an awesome owner and extremely knowledgeable. The store carries just about everything you could want or need. Definitely worth a visit!
