A wonderful community, that encourages older students to mentor younger students. Class sizes and teachers make education personal and work to help each individual thrive and find their passion in life beyond the classroom. The school engages in service project to help the community of Salem and world wide. They work to develop future community leaders that focus on integrity.

Top rate private education. Excellent sports programs. The teachers keep me informed of what is going on in class via email and we use an app to check on grades and homework. The staff are courteous and attentive to things we are working on with the kids to help them excel and achieve.

Salem Academy is the 2nd Christian School my kids have attended with 2 graduating from SA thus far and one in the 8th grade. SA was the perfect fit for my kids, not overwhelmingly too big and not too small. The class sizes were much smaller than the public schools and provided more one on one opportunities with the teachers. The dual credit opportunities were an added bonus with my son graduating with 9 and my daughter with 17 college credits. Some kids have graduated with their entire freshman year of college completed.nnBoth kids played a specific sport, my son played football where he was a team captain his senior year and my daughter girls golf where she was a team captain her senior year. The sports were a great opportunity for them to play at the varsity level for multiple years not getting lost in the shuffle.nnIn the end we chose Salem Academy because of the foundational Christian Principles we desired for them in education. So with two post-graduation, one serving in the United States Marines and the other going to college with her first two years paid for through grants I have nothing but gratitude for the school, staff, and faculty.

Again bullying becomes worse and still nothing is being done about it
