Tiffany at the desk was super awesome! I'm a woman traveling alone far from home and she was such a blessing to me! She really cared for my comfort and wellbeing. Very knowledgeable and professional in her duties. She went above and beyond to assist me with my needs. Thank you Tiffany for all of your help!
Made all arrangements over the phone after looking online for places to stay in La Porte. Asked for ground floor (no stairs) king bed. Was not told ground floor was 6 steps down..below ground. Although clean, room was very basic and old. Bath also clean, but in need of repair. Stool, short and small, did not allow room to sit..also wobbled. Bedding very old..blankets had holes. Room very noisy. All and all, would not stay there again and would not recommend.
Stayed here for a tactical event for the weekend, my wife thought it was good because we could bring our pup with us. It was in a location to everything we needed. A few fast food places less than a 5 minute walk one way and a lake/trail area a 5 minute walk the other way. Beautiful scenery. We didn’t eat the small breakfast provided due to COVID but everything else was pretty well kept for a 2 star hotel. My wife was a little skeptical because of some of the reviews but when we got there Staff was always cleaning and our room was pretty clean, we even checked the beds. From what we could see all the rooms seemed pretty well kept. A little outdated but that didn’t bother us it was a family, friendly hotel and lots of other guests had dogs too so we will definitely be returning and the prices were the best around. Only issue I would say is the bed was really hard And killed my neck but some people like that so to each their own.
Nice place, absolutely would of gave a 5 but no elevator. Other than that would stay here again. Everyone is very polite and friendly.
Was a really good stay for it being a 2 star hotel. Even had breakfast to eat in the morning. Was on a last minute trip to see family in the area and I’m glad this place has room available. Staff is very attentive and the surrounding area is a BIG. You get a lot of bang for your buck here. I will definitely be staying here again!
