Because of Their Food And Sodas
Love stopping here whenever we are in Salem. Really good burgers.
So this is what passes for a burger joint these days? Pretty shocked some people think this is good food? Have actually had better food from a gas station!
Fair prices for a small, local burger joint. Classic interior of the restaurant if you're into old school 60s/70s American culture. Food was decent. I must say that the products are a lot more natural and organic than say,your typical McDonald's or Wendy's.nRestaurant was pretty clean, though despite not being that busy at the time I went, the chairs and booths could've benefited from a more thorough cleaning.nThe staff was relatively nice and helpful, although English wasn't all that fluent and who was working at the time had a bit of a struggle conveying of what I was trying to order.nnDecent place overall. It's worth trying at least once, I would say. I may or may not visit again. The menu had quite the variety of foods, outside of just hamburgers and fries. There's hot dogs, chili, soups, misc. sandwiches, seafood, and other items to choose from if you're not in the mood for a burger.
Such a great time every time that I come here. I've been doing so for decades. Whilst the workers have changed different people over the decades I've always found them to be friendly.nSo if you're in the area and you're in the mood for a hamburger then I'd suggest that you try the Burger Basket.
