NEGATIVE:nI live in an apartment on the 3rd floor. I was recommended to Cooks by friends of mine. Going into the cleaning I was excited, they quoted me at $85 and that was after I checked a second time about the room size.nnI live on a one way street and they had my address for nearly three and a half weeks. And they knew that I was on the 3rd floor. I was told nothing about it being extra because of these things. Then I was told it would be twice what I was quoted. I am not at all a good negotiator and had never gotten carpets cleaned before so I folded. Not crying victim, but be sure to assert the price before letting them clean.nnThey cleaned 15 minutes tops, not very friendly and very short with me. Not a great experience all around, just hope that they realize they caused me a pretty bad headache. Kicking myself and wish I would have tried to bring them down on their crazy high price for my tiny room.
