Fred Meyer Pharmacy

My mom just had a total knee replacement, and is in excruciating pain. Three times in the last 24 hours I've tried to get refills (the doctor has ordered medication, but the insurance won't cover it, so I've told them I'll pay out of pocket). One person will tell me they'll get it filled, and when I go to pick it up, someone else will say its too early to fill for insurance to cover it. Then I tell them again I'll pay out of pocket, they say they'll fill it, only to hear the same line the next time I try to pick it up. Meanwhile my mom is in excruciating pain waiting for her medication. This has been one of the most infuriating experiences I've had with any pharmacy ever. Would give negative stars if possible.

If I could give them a negative star rating I would. I have unfortunately been going to this pharmacy for over a year and a half because my old insurance forced me to only use them. My son has a terminal disease and has many medications so we are here way more than most. Instead of going into details I will give a summary:nn- If you get a medication sent in that day from the doctor... Be prepared to wait for hours to get them to fill the prescription.n- If you call them expect horrible customer service. The main lady who answers the phone is extremely rude and very short, and when (not if) something goes wrong, don't expect any apology... It's never going to happen.n- When you call in to check on a previously called in refill and are told, it's being processed... It's almost always not true.n- If you have a refill medication that you are about to run out of... Make sure you call a week in advance, even then good luck and getting it filled before you run out.n- When you refill, if they don't have stock (even though you've been on this medication for over a year), they won't call and let you know, they expect you'll find out about it later and then expect you to find the medication somewhere else.n- When you are promised a pick up time, don't ever expect it to actually be filled when picking it up.n- They don't care if your child is sick and in a wheelchair, sometimes they make you come into the store even though they have a drive through.nnBottom line, they are absolutely horrible at everything... I mean EVERYTHING! My child is dying, and my time and stress shouldn't have to be wasted making sure these people can do their jobs so my son can get his medication.nnI will be calling management and I have just got off the phone with our insurance and they are allowing me to go elsewhere for his medication. I wouldn't recommend Fred Meyer Pharmacies ever to anyone, ever, stay clear.

When I called in my prescriptions was left on hold for over a half hour then the lady was beyond rude and short when she finally was able to help me.

They usually have my medicine on time. Thank you

I have yet to have an issue, service has been good in my experience. The poor pharmacists and techs seem quite overworked I have to say. Their job cant be easy.
