The ABSOLUTE BEST part of Portland. Books, cats, and people who lovingly care about/for both? Yes, please. I can not speak higher of a place than I do of Cat Tales, the owner, all those that work and help and donate. I seriously just love this place!
Friendly staff. Excellent prices and selection. They have adoptable cats you can interact with.
We adopted our kitties Blue and Willie from here and had a great experience! It was so nice to visit with them first in the bookstore and get a chance to see their personalities before making a decision. We're currently maxed out on animals here but when we are ready for more we would not hesitate to go back for another! I encourage you to check them out yourself and maybe find your own cat or dog to save! :)
So cute and sweet! We all loved it! Books are well organized. I do wish they had air sanitizing filters running. Beware of pet store smell. Maybe they do this but cat boxes in a room with shut door and doggie door access would help limit smell.
