There are several bad reviews pertaining to the owner but he was very welcoming and nice to me. I asked questions about many items and he seemed happy to talk to me about them. It is one of the best antique shops I've seen with beautiful and rare things everywhere. And the prices are very fair. Definitely go in.

Earle Antiques is one of favorite spots to go in Salem... The owner, Tom and his sweet and friendly assistant, Susan are 2 good people! Knowledgeable from many years in the business...

Wonderful building, location, selection. If you have any interest in history, antiques, or collectibles, Earle Antiques is a great place to visit.

The sweet old lady that works in this store is my favorite. She always greets me warmly, like an old friend. I've seen the owner that most of the reviews mention being an awful person. I've not talked to him. I've also used an app on my phone to look up the silver content of several coins. Nobody suggested that I couldn't do that in the store.
