I took my two kids there makayla and Levi just to get bicycle helmets, without missing a beat all the firefighters I saw there stopped what they were doing and the ladies aided them in giving my kids stuffed animals coloring books and stickers while they waited to be sized for helmets. Levi, having just woke up fron a car nap was a little less than amused, but they won his affection and had him giggling hia way out the door. What a wonderful binch of human beings to have caring for our neighborhoods. Thank you so much all of you guys down there!! :-)
On Tuesday around 11:30 am i was on the side of the road with my autistic little girl who was in her stroller. We were waiting for the school bus it was the corner of fisher and ward dr. A fire truck went by lights on and siren going. My daughter flipped out holding her ears because loud noises set her off and i put my hands over hers to help block out the siren. Anyway the firemen quickly flipped off their siren to go past my daughter and didn't put it back on till they got down the road. I just want to say that act of kindness is rare and meant so much to us. My daughter and i so appreciate your kindness and will never forget it. Thank you for that and God bless you.
