Went to Ace today to get some external paint. I found four clerks chatting in the back of the store and asked for help in paint. One person came over to help me. I explained that I had already picked out the type of paint and I had a sample of the color and needed them to match it. She said well that is just white paint and I had to look at the samples and then tell her what I wanted. Last time I went to Ace they did it for me, I didn't have to try to figure out which color matched my sample. So I left and went to Lowe's, where they took the sample and figured out the color for me.nI suggest whatever employees are supposed to work in paint be trained in how to do this.nI like to go to Ace because it's closer to home, even though the prices may be a bit higher than other places. I appreciate that they seem to hire older people, but it's not an excuse for them to not do their jobs properly.
Everything was displayed and priced properly. Excellent variety of items that I needed. Check out staff was friendly and helpful. Great place to go
Ace is the place with the helpful hardware men, and women! White's run a tight ship at all ther Indianapolis are stores. Always find what I need.
You cannot beat their service. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Retail establishments should use them as a case study.
