Dr. Grasser has always been professional, knowledgeable and compassionate in all my dealings with him over the last eight years. I look forward to my annual physical and enjoy his insights and appreciate his health recommendations tailored to my ranching lifestyle. He is the best medical doctor I have ever had the pleasure to be around and I have no reluctance in highly recommending him. Mary, his office manager, is equally professional and it been a joy dealing with her over the years.

This review is not of Dr. Grasser but for the front desk staff at his office. Our primary care physician is currently out of town so I contacted Dr. Grasser’s office in the hopes of making an appointment. Mary at the front desk was rude, unprofessional and hung up on me mid sentence. She obviously is very unhappy and overwhelmed in her job. I have heard wonderful things about Dr. Grasser but his front desk personnel certainly does not represent kindness, compassion or care.

I have been a patient for the past two years and adore him! Not only is he well trained (Stanford undergraduate, Dartmouth Medical School), but he is kind, caring, compassionate and totally accessible. He practices the "old school medicine" that I grew up with in that his patients are important to him, he knows who you are, and is available when you need to see him. He has proved to be an excellent diagnostician and though he does practice Ayurvedic and "alternative" medicine, he is not afraid to prescribe traditional drugs when called for. There is never a wait to see him, and always a quick follow-up to any test results. He keeps track of when further testing or visits need to be scheduled and faithfully sends a gentle reminder. I have lived in Santa Fe for nearly 30 years and have lost 3 General Practitioners to retirement. Eric is young, dedicated, and I am so glad that he will be there for me as I get older.

Dr Grasser is a very nice person and is very gracious with his time; however ... This is the second time in two years that we have had to do our own research and find not just a specialist, but recently an alternate local PCP to assist us to solve our medical issue. Within one hour, both of these doctors were able to formulate a hypothesis and begin treatment without invasive or excessive testing. This practice is not for everyone and especially for seniors with chronic conditions. Dr Grasser does not have the experience to be able to assist in a timely fashion.

Dr. Grasser is great! My wife and I have been fortunate to have very few health issues for our 3.5 year old son but the few times we have needed help, Dr. Grasser has been a huge asset. He follows up really well and even sent a text message update after hours which was very comforting. We have and will continue to recommend him to our friends and family.
