Extremely poor personnel boundaries and leaves patients weeks without their medication forcing them to have to seek emergency care from the hospital. Extreme lack of memory and care for others.

Reduces medication to a dangerously low level. Poor personal boundaries. Sometimes doesn’t show up, then lies about it.

Dr. Altenberg has raised the bar for what I have come to expect from medical professionals. Previous experience with doctors has taught me to become accustomed to their tardyness, lateness, and all out lack of respect for the patients time. Dr. Altenberg has caused me to have renewed trust in medical doctors, he is always on time, always sticks to his schedule (while this can be frustrating if one runs out of time with him; it can come to be appreciated because when one has time constraints, its very polite and respectful for a doctor to adhere to your schedule and not make you jepordize one being inorder to receive medical care), and most of all Dr. Altenberg really cares about his patients. He will often have deep conversations with you, but this is to ensure a more intimate and trusting relationship between patient and doctor. If you need to contact him, be prepared to reach his voicemail alot, however, he is good at calling back usualy within a day or two of leaving a message asking him to call you. Overall, while I can find negative things to say about other medical professionals (various reasons), I cannot fabricate any negative aspects about Dr. Altenberg because he is the best doctor I have ever had the privlidge of working with. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a new doctor! Highly recomended.
