My husband took me to the Dory Cove restaurant for the first time this last weekend. I had the Halibut fish and chips and they were the best I've ever had. To give you some idea of my qualifications to judge, I lived in Alaska for 6 years and caught and prepared my own seafood, including Halibut. I got the 3 piece meal and was very glad I didn't get the 4 piece. By the time I had my salad and cup of chowder with my fish, I was stuffed. The pieces of Halibut were big and firm and cooked perfectly. The staff was very friendly and handled a couple of customer challenges very graciously. We will definitely be going back! They had a big dessert menu I didn't get the chance to try!
