I had just gotten off work and was on 65 north when I had a flat tire, I called Boone Co. Dispatch to tell them. My grandson came to pick me up, also, an officer pulled up a minute or so after my grandson, this officer proceeded to change my tire. A big thank you and a bigger God Bless You to Officer Reynolds for changing the tire and God Bless to the officer that directed traffic, I am sorry I didn't that name.

Had a friend processed for a owi. I had been through this process before, unfortunately, in both Marion and Hamilton county, but the treatment of my friend, as well as their responsiveness to my calls and questions, were unbelievably great! Cops have more work than just chasing bad guys, there's tons of clerical and paperwork too, and sometimes the stress makes them lose their patience. Not in Boone county!! All the officers and lieutenants treated as fair, like humans, not like criminals. But still, dont drink and drive, they will bust your butt

A sheriff pulled me over this evening. He informed me that my tail light was out as well as my license plate lights. He did the usual asking for license and insurance. He went back to his car after I produced what he requested. What happened next was so unexpected I'm still kind of shocked. He came to the window and gave me a $25 dollar walmart gift card. He said go get your lights fixed. To which I promptly did. That is offering a solution to a problem. A great show of helping to which I'm from Chicago and just passing through. I think Boone county has the right idea and if more police stations followed there lead with real solutions than the world would be a much better place. Thank you to the sheriff that pulled me over (i didnt catch your name) and the boone county sheriff's department your help was greatly appreciated and keep up the good work!

GREAT JOB, THANK YOU for pushing for the temporary stop light on 52 near the Dairy Queen. I travel that road every day and have seen how much more dangerous it has been since the detour. Travelers are treating 52 like 65 and going over 70 mph. Its unfortunate lives have been lost over the last few months on 52, but I know the temporary stop light will save lives.

Their system malfunctioned and theynwill not allow me to visit with my loved one. Not even an option for an alternative or a way to make up for the visit I scheduled two days prior to this
