Athletico Physical Therapy - Whitestown

Everyone at this facility has always been so nice and very professional. I have been here for two different issues (in 2019 for my shoulder- Andrew was my therapist, and in 2020 for my back- Tony is my therapist) and both times they were able to help me feel better than before the issue even started. They both took the time to teach me exercises that would help not only heal the issue but that would strengthen those areas. I would highly recommend Athletico and specifically the Whitestown location!!

I would highly recommend Athletico Physical Therapy in Whitestown, Indiana, they have great therapists and staff is very nice. They listen to you, and come up with a good plan for you. I have been for my back and this time it was after my knee replacement. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

There are a lot of great things that can be said about the team and level of care at this facility. I did not know what to expect when I picked this facility for my care. They definitely exceeded my expectations. I will share some details below.nnBefore my initial visit, they took down all of the necessary information related to my situation. When I walked in for my first appointment, Polly had already verified my insurance coverage and scheduled my next appointments based on my preferences. She did a great job explaining all of the details during my initial visit.nnMy physical therapist was Andrew. On the first day, before we did any stretches or tests, we had a discussion about my condition and the circumstances leading up to it. That probably took an hour. That may seem long, but it really took as long as needed. Andrew was attentive, took notes, and asked questions throughout the conversation. I immediately had the feeling that he wanted to see me get healthy, not just check a box. From that point, we started on my recovery.nnI spent close to three months in physical therapy. I will not go through any detail, but I will give some advice (for those that read to this point). You will get out of this program, whatever you put into it. These guys are good, but you have to be committed to your stretches or exercises on days between sessions, or progress will be very slow. Also, be honest with your feedback on levels of pain or discomfort, no matter how minor. Andrew is very thorough in his care, but for him to be helpful, he has to understand what your body is telling you.nnMy care lasted as long as was needed. I never felt like I was being pushed for more visits that would generate more revenue. There were even times that Andrew recommended that I go on my own for a week to see how I would do without a visit (following my personalized program at home). I knew I could reach out to him, if needed.nnI know this review was lengthy. I felt like this team put such a huge effort into my care, that I could spend some time sharing my own very positive experience.nnThanks, again, to the team in Whitestown.

Tony was amazing! He really tries to educate you about the different exercises, and makes physical therapy fun! After two weeks, my injury tremendously improved. I’m so thankful to Athletico in Whitestown!

I’ve been in treatment with Matthew for a few weeks now, and I’ve experienced tremendous improvement in my neck and back pain. Matthew’s knowledge and experience coupled with his wit and humor makes every session both fun and productive. (Matthew also offers dry needling and is exceedingly well trained on that modality.)nnAndrew has supervised a few of my exercises, and I felt equally confident under his care. Polly is always so warm and welcoming, and she made the initial scheduling so easy.nnI highly recommend the team at the Whitestown Athletico.
