In January of 2020, I contacted the Executive Director of the Restoracy, Bryan Lindsay, to inquire about The Restoracy for my father. At that point, they were just breaking ground for the buildings. Bryan’s knowledge and passion for his venture showed in his enthusiasm and willingness to answer any and all questions my family had about placing my father at the Restoracy once it opened in May.nConstruction was on schedule, in spite of a pandemic, and my father was the first resident at The Restoracy. They welcomed him like he was a rock star! Bryan and his staff are knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. They take the time to make sure all their resident’s needs are met and are more than willing to meet with family members to answer questions.nThe Restoracy is a beautiful facility made up of 6 building that accommodate up up 12 residents per building. The smaller environment gives the sense of community and family.nDuring these uncertain times with a pandemic in our midst, Bryan and his staff have been abundantly cautious, while still allowing socially distanced outdoor visits. That was important to us as many of our family is out of state. There is constant communication/updates with families to keep everyone informed.nAs a family, our worries about care for my father are lessened now that he is is living at The Restoracy. All of his needs are being met and our minds are at ease.

We moved my mother from a highly respected facility into The Restoracy of Whitestown the end of June. I didn’t imagine any facility could be superior to the previous one but it has proven to be the case in many ways. The warm and cozy feeling of the home she is in she now views as her own home. She is enjoying the staff and residents and loves the freshly prepared meals. The administrative staff has gone above and beyond what I would have ever imagined to accommodate her needs and make her feel special and loved. This has proven to be a wonderful experience for my mother which has made it a wonderful experience for her family. Thank you to all of the staff at The Restoracy of Whitestown.

I am the director and co-founder of The Restoracy. Our mission is to restore health, dignity, and familiarity for our residents in a home-like environment and provide personalized, meaningful care by employees empowered to always put residents’ needs first. We hope when you or your family has a need for post-hospital rehabilitation, long-term skilled care or memory care, you are willing to come over and see how we're different in all the right ways.

My sister spent 20 days at Community North Hospital, most of it in the critical care unit. She was recuperating from a reaction cause by her chemotherapy that resulted in many complications including double pneumonia. I chose The Restoracy of Whitestown for her rehab after visiting several other rehab locations. We made the correct choice. Her rehab treatment was in a home-like environment with the maximum of 11 other patients which allowed the staff to give her very personal attention. The Restoracy staff was also helpful in helping us navigate our way through the home care options. The Restoracy’s commitment for creating a Covid-19 free environment was also very impressive.

After unexpected life-threatening complications from chemotherapy and more than two weeks in ICU, I had to find my mother a rehabilitation facility that I could trust. She was recovering from double pneumonia and had COPD, so clear and very effective COVID protocols were a must. There was no room for error.nnMy family and I had just recently moved out of state, which added another level of stress and concern in finding a clean, progressive facility offering personalized care. The fact that I was not there in person to advocate for my mom was uncomfortable and unchartered territory. Not only was it imperative that I find the best facility, but a seasoned team that could make things happen quickly was equally as important. I had heard so many horror stories about rehabilitation facilities, and now it was MY mom that required rehabilitation.nnWhen I reached out to The Restoracy of Whitestown, I spoke with the Director, Bryan Lindsay. He offered a thorough explanation of the facility detailing how they were prepared to care for my mom, with an emphasis on exactly how they could protect my mom from COVID. His technical knowledge and caring voice afforded me immediate peace of mind, 1100 miles away, mind you!nnHe introduced me to his team, and within 48 hours, they had executed precisely what he (they) had promised. The team worked directly with Community North Hospital to review the case and her supplemental insurance coverage, ensuring a clear understanding applicable coverage and what to expect otherwise. They had taken care of all the paperwork, began building a personalized care plan for my mom, and arranged for transportation. Honestly, I couldn’t believe how quickly these steps were executed.nnThe team was able to offer all three therapy rehabilitation disciplines to meet her needs. They quickly sourced and provided unique oxygen equipment my mom required. The individual rooms offered a quiet, private environment allowing my mom to rest and heal. The front and back porches were invaluable, allowing my mom to get outside as well as an option to safely host visitors.nnThis valued team ended up caring for my mom for over 20 days, meeting each of the agreed-upon goals so she was able to return safely to her home. The experience far exceeded our expectations. Swift communications via phone and email, as well as weekly progress conference calls, provided a clear road map helping everyone manage expectations along the way.nnI write this review with an enormous amount of gratitude. This team gets it. This team CARES. Bryan, Gina, and Allie (and so many others) took the guesswork and fear out of this process for my mother and me. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility. The Restoracy may be new to Whitestown, IN and the name may be new to the industry, that said, the innovative facility design and dynamic team is loaded with seasoned medical care professionals that offer clear communication and REAL care.
