Gwen is such great inspiration. high energy.

Gwen loves barns and respects barn owners. Her long-time, personal, and unpaid mission--as a native Hoosier raised on a farm, who's become a skilled and sensitive artist--is doing what she can to help preserve Indiana's irreplaceable heritage of traditional barns. But before she does any photographing or plein air painting of a barn's portrait, she's scrupulous about first approaching the owner, requesting and getting written permission. Gwen is a pleasant, likable person. And owners, often proud of their historic barns, are usually happy to give permission and participate in her Heritage Barns of Indiana project. On the rare occasion she doesn't get permission, Gwen respectfully proceeds no further. During her time at their barns, owners come to consider Gwen a friend. I can't imagine why anyone would claim otherwise.
