Today my husband and I visited here to get some information on possibly relocating to the Eugene area. The young man that helped us was very well informed. I don’t remember his name but he answered all of our questions and gave us great suggestions on places to go and things to do.

Staff very friendly. Closed on weekend. Good place to get bike map. Haven’t tried app but impressed they have one

If you plan on moving or visiting lane county be advised the rodent problem is out of hand. The smell of rats is overwhelming and think of the food places and motels. I moved here to eugene and before that cottage grove in the last few months I have moved out of 3 places plus motels because of the rats. Lane county doesn't do rat control. They charge big money for homes and apartments but fail to tell you about the huge rodent population. They say you will learn to live with it. These are not cheap places but I'm not going to pay $1000-2000 per month for everything you own to smell like rats. HUGE POPULATION NOT ONE OR TWO IN THESE PLACES aggressive rats sooo gross

I'd spend more time in eugene shopping and eating out at the various restaurants downtown if it wasn't for the horrendous lack of public restrooms available.nParking downtown is extortion, a quater doesn't even get you enough time on the meter to walk around the block non stop once.nDealing with the parking tickets are not easy either to encourage you to just pay them currency and be done with it.nnAll previously paid for by tax payers public amenities have been removed from downtown eugene.
