The Bier Stein

We come here often. We love the large nacho, it is easily to fill up two people. Their bottle shop is huge and diverse, with an option for all palates. Atmosphere is decent, and the quality of the service truly depends on who is working.

Closer to 3.5, but what can you do.nnSo, the food is decent and tasty, but my ranking system kind of looks like (perceived value)/(actual price)? That's just a metaphor. Basically, it's more than I'd want to pay for what I get.nnThe beer selection is quite good though, the name 'Bier Stein' hold up for me. I actually prefer places with fewer bottle options, but when you flip as many bottles as a place like this does, it's probably not an issue.nnOne of the bigger issues for me is the loud atmosphere, which I don't think they can have any control over. It's a catch-22, but I can't rate something higher than my perceived enjoyment of it, so here we are.nnYou could do much worse! If you don't mind crowds, (oh god why I am I writing this in 2020), it'll probably be a great time. Otherwise, try to get here when it's quiet or get a seat outside.

I have been going to the Bier Stein since it was at the other location. To make this short and simple: all around this is one of my favorite beer spots to hit in the country. One of the best selections of bottles around, great food, and always something interesting and new on tap. Don't miss it.

I used to really enjoy visiting the bier stein, but I went recently and was incredibly disappointed. The beer is still good but the food has really gone downhill. I used to love the Cuban sandwich here, but apparently they got a new chef and wiped the sandwich off the menu. It was one of the best sandwiches on the menu! Instead of ordering the Cuban like I had hoped, I ordered a hot chicken sandwich figuring it would be a little spicy, but this sandwich was so hot that I couldn’t eat more than three bites of it (and I like spicy foods...) maybe a good warning about the level of heat would be beneficial for the customers. Since I couldn’t eat my chicken sandwich I ordered a child’s sized Mac and cheese just to eat SOMETHING for dinner, but when my server brought out the Mac and cheese he tried to shame me for ordering it and told me “we’re not supposed to served childs size Mac and cheese to anyone under 12.” and continued on that tangent for a few minutes...when I went up to order a second beer he brought it up again! Overall I’m really disappointed with this most recent visit. I’m not sure if I’ll be going back...

AMAZING! Food was delicious and the beer was great! An awesome atmosphere for family & friends! Definitely will miss dining in but glad I had the opportunity to visit before shut down!
