I love gone to the EVPL I JUST LOVE IT NICEAND CLEAN
It’s a fine public library. Some people don’t like the homeless that loiter around the place, but you have to expect that in a public library. I found Pumping Iron on VHS here back in 2006, so 5 stars.
Clean, quiet, good place to relax and read a good book.
If you're looking for a book, central probably has it. The breadth of their selection is considerably large considering other Evansville libraries. The library tends to be a bit loud because so many locals hangout in there on their phones (sometimes video chatting or watching YouTube without headphones). Also, I've been in there several times and had to grab the officer on duty because there was a fight (yes, INSIDE the library). Fortunately, the library has quite study rooms that are pretty cool. Very serene and it gives you a nice view.
