Second Hand Prose Book Store

Good quality second-hand books and magazines. Nice volunteers. Take donated books for Friends of the Eugene Public Library (FEPL). Check open hours.

This is VERY small. Located inside the doors of the library to the left of the coffe bar, it very much looks and feels like a large walk in closet. Initially I was very disappointed and took a quick look around which was about 10 steps front to back. As I walked the 10 steps back out the door I noticed a small endcap with about 10 books. It was the STEM section. I found not one, but TWO books I wanted! I wasn't sure if it was cash only so I only got one book, Science Friction, because I only had $4. Went I got to the counter I was told the STEM section was currently buy one get one free! I was able to obtain the second book I wanted, The Human Genome, for FREE! I found another 3 books that I would have considered as well had I not flown in for the weekend and had limited space. Due to the size I wouldn't make a special trip to visit this store, however if you're nearby it's worth a stop - keep an open mind and don't let the size decide it's worth.
